Artisan Story

An ethereal 400-year-old art form said to have been introduced by Nur Jahan. Comprising 32 distinct stitch styles — from tepchi (running stitch) to bakhiya (shadow work) — each garment is passed through 8 skilled hands before it is complete.

Weaving Technique

Tepchi (running stitch), Bakhiya (shadow work), Phanda (filling), and Murri (seed knot) — all hand-executed with white thread on fine cotton or georgette.
